Vision Rings True in 2022!

Greater Greenwood United Ministry's Crisis Ministry is on the Move

After nearly 3-decades at its current location shared with the Ministry's Free Medical Clinic, GGUM's Crisis Ministry is preparing to relocate to its own space in a newly donated building.

The Crisis Ministry and the Free Medical Clinic have been housed together at 1404 Edgefield Street since January 1996.

As both ministries face increased demand for their services, the need for expansion forced GGUM to look for additional space. Then God Spoke. Prayers were answered, and the building at 1409 Edgefield Street was donated by a local business owner.

Located directly across the street from the current location, the new building will house the Crisis Ministry after the former commercial garage is modified and renovated to the ministry's specifications.

The Free Medical Clinic will expand its services and remain at its current location.

Expansion of the Crisis Ministry has been a long-time vision of past and current leaders. The vision is now ringing true, in the year 2022!

Bursting with excitement, GGUM Executive Director Rosemary Bell says, "We are grateful to God for the provision to continue his work in our community!"

Ms. Bell invites everyone to watch for updates as things progress.
