Rising and Declining
Rising costs of everyday essentials like food and gasoline continue to affect our nation and our local Greenwood area community.
Greater Greenwood United Ministry is assisting Greenwood County residents at a record level, having already paid out 68% more for rent evictions and utility disconnections so far this year than in all of 2025.
GGUM partner churches have traditionally sustained GGUM’s Crisis Ministry, but many are seeing declining donations from their congregations, which in turn affects their contributions to GGUM.
Giving Tuesday has been a pivotal year-end donation campaign for GGUM in recent years.
It is an easy way for you, your business, your family, or your organization to commit to a gift to GGUM as we enter the holiday season.
