Saluting Heroes!

Greater Greenwood United Ministry honored volunteers for their dedication and service to the ministry at a "Patriotic" themed Awards Banquet, at the Veterans Center. The ministry also honored staff and volunteers who are Veterans of the U.S. Armed Services. Greater Greenwood United Ministry is largely staffed by volunteers. Last year volunteers donated more than 1500 hours of service to the ministry. Honorees were awarded plaques and other keepsakes. Brigadier General, Charles Fox delivered the keynote speech, offering words of wisdom and encouragement.
