Greater Greenwood United Ministry’s “Music for Ministry” Event Turns 10!

Save the Date, Saturday, August 17, 2024, at NewSpring Church.

The upcoming 2024 “Music for Ministry” fundraiser will mark a decade of harmony; bringing people together to praise the Lord, lifting voices and souls.

Soaring attendance prompted moving the Greater Greenwood United Ministry fundraiser to another of GGUM’s church partners… NewSpring Church.

Last year’s MFM event hosted by New Journey garnered the largest bounty of funds and attendees ever.

During “Music for Ministry’s 10-year history, the spirit-filled event has continued to draw a diverse crowd of folks from all kinds of churches, Baptist to Methodist, Catholic, Lutheran, Mennonite, Amish, and more.

Multiple generations, from varied backgrounds come together in a soul-stirring, foot-stomping transformative concert.

The music is both traditional and modern. The performances range from Solo acts to Choirs, from Praise teams to Praise dancers.

Aside from the music, the Live and Silent Auctions soak up the spotlight too as does a down-home dinner that usually includes barbecue.

All proceeds from the event will be used through the programs and services of Greater Greenwood United Ministry to offer a hand up to those in life or medical crisis.
