Greater Greenwood United Ministry's Free Medical Clinic Hits The Road

Greater Greenwood United Ministry’s Free Medical Clinic is on the “road again.” After its August debut, September 1^st will be the second voyage for the mobile Clinic coming straight to the residents of Saluda.

The Mobile Clinic sets up shop at Iglesia Camino De La Fe Cristiana, a church located @ 316 Batesburg Highway.

Self Regional Healthcare’s mobile bus was created to export medical services. Greater Greenwood United Ministry is honored to partner with the hospital to meet this community's need.

A partnership between Self Regional Healthcare and Greater Greenwood United Ministry is bringing doctor visits directly to people.

Last month the clinic treated more than a dozen patients and expects that number to increase every month.

Donna Trapp, Greater Greenwood United Ministry's Medical Clinic Coordinator says, “We are considering the city of Edgefield next."

Greater Greenwood United Ministry's Medical Director, Dr. Coleman Robinson, plans on being a consistent provider as does Dr. George Cone.

Patients get medical screenings and actual medical care. Greater Greenwood United Ministry's on-site pharmacist and nurses are on hand as well.

The mobile clinic will set up shop the first Thursday of every month.
